From a young age she loved everything art related particularly drawing and photographing everything.
Ellen has always been an active person, doing ballet and gymnastics at a young age. Growing up she moved on from gymnastics and found circus. Through CIRCA’s youth troupe she explored her creative side and fell in love. During these years Ellen completed her certificate III in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft (Photography). And her love for photographing circus began.
After graduating from high school Ellen made the decision to apply to the National Institute for Circus Arts, the only circus school in Australia. Moving to Melbourne and going to NICA she completed the Bachelor of Circus Arts specializing in bounce juggling, loop straps and group acrobatics. Post NICA Ellen got into the company Dummies Corp. and created the show ‘Don’t Mess with the Dummies’ with two other women. Currently she performs this show all over Australia and even Internationally.
With a growing YouTube Ellen creates handstand tutorials and lifestyle vlogs about circus and performing. She is continuing to grow her online business through teaching beginner yogis and calisthenics how to balance on their hands through private lessons, affordable ebooks and courses.
She has also been teaching a range of circus skills to children and adults, including handstands, tumbling and juggling.
